Badly equipped anti-spam tool, that filters e-mail and Usenet messages. Platforms: Windows 3.1/95/98 Manufacturer: Net Services, http://www.compulink.co.uk/~net-services/spam Prize: Freeware, 25 Dollar (Spam Hater Gold) This is the only here shown application, that also offers newsgroup filtering. It cooperates with all often-used e-mail clients such as Eudora, MS Outlook, NS Messenger or Pegasus Mail. Also AOL and CompuServe clients are supported. With Spam Hater it is not possible to work online at the server. Firstly all the messages must be downloaded to the local client, then, secondly, they are analyzed. As a specialty, Spam Hater has a built-in trace route and whois module, so that the sender might be identified. The Gold version supports adaptable analyzing functions.
