Well equipped anti-spam tool, utilizing a large spammer database. But it can also be updated over the internet. The application wokrs in the background and shows its activiy through an icon in the systray. Spam Ex uses rules how to treat incoming messages. Via its rule wizard, filters can be associated with spammers In a second step, actions are defined, for expamle deleting the spam mail on the mail server. Important scanning criterias are the equality between the sender and a spammer out of Spam Ex' database. The program works independent of the mail client, but cooperates with it. It is able to automatically open a connection to the mail server, even through a proxy. After checking the postbox it deletes spam mails and initates the mail exchange automatically. Multiple boxes with different accounts are supported.
