Business-Reengineering führt zu horizontaler Prozessorganisation in Unternehmen und zu grundlegender Neugestaltung betrieblicher Abläufe. Durch den gezielten Einsatz moderner Informationstechnologie werden Prozesse unterstützt und beeinflusst. Für die detaillierte Gestaltung der Prozesse – unter Beteiligung der zukünftigen Anwender – ist daher die Funktionalität der Informationsverarbeitungssysteme und die adäquate Darstellung der Unternehmensmodelle von großer Bedeutung.
Wir stellen ein Verfahren vor, das die simultane Entwicklung von (Geschäfts-)Prozessen und Informationsverarbeitungssystemen unter Berücksichtigung der wechselseitigen Abhängigkeiten ermöglicht. Die Unternehmensmodelle erweitern wir um die Visualisierung der Benutzerschnittstelle. Anhand von Prototypen kann schon bei der Gestaltung der Prozesse auf die Unterstützung der Informationstechnologie aufgebaut werden.
In Verbindung mit den Prozessmodellen und Dokumentationen stellt die Benutzerschnittstelle eine vollständige Spezifikation in Richtung Implementierung dar. Um den evolutionären Charakter der Entwicklung von Prozessmodellen zu unterstützen, haben wir eine Anwendung (ProtoGen) realisiert, die Kollaboration über Internet ermöglicht.

leads to a horizontal process organization in an enterprise and to a basic
reformation of organization processes. These processes are supported and
influenced through the aimed application of modern information technology. For
the detailed process modeling – under the participation of the future user –
the functionality of information
processing systems and the adequate presentation of the organization’s models
is of great importance.
We
introduce a method that enables a simultaneous development of (business)-processes
and information processing systems under the consideration of interconnectivity.
We expand the organization models to visualize the user's interface. With the
use of prototypes, already by the formation of processes, the support of
information technology can be constructed.
In
connection with the process models and documentation, the user's interface
presents a complete specification that leads further down to implementation. We
constructed an application (ProtoGen) that enables collaboration over the
Internet, to support the evolutionary character of the development of process
models.
